Cell Group Meetings in Rural Kenya

I've shared before at how blessed I am to work with such incredible Kenyan staff members.  Every day in Kenya, I am surrounded at Agape by wonderful men and women who love the Lord!!!  What an awesome place to work!

I have always been amazed by my Reintegration Team's intense focus upon sharing the Gospel whenever they have an opportunity, but after 18 months in Kenya they still surprise me from time to time.  Reintegration works crazy hours driving all over Kenya visiting our reintegrated children, so you can imagine how humbled I was when John Mwalo, Reintegration's manager, came asking to work Saturdays to share the Gospel in local, rural communities around Kenya.  Of course, I said, "Yes!"

The Reintegration Team then began going out one Saturday a month to visit different reintegrated children's homes to conduct Cell Group Meetings.  Prior notice is provided for the family to gather all of their friends to attend, and the turnout for the meetings has been amazing.  A few weeks ago, Reintegration went out to Usenge, and had 94 people show up for the Cell Group Meeting.  The most astounding number, though, is that of those 94 people, 45 people came to know Jesus as their Savior during the day-long meeting!  Praise the Lord!!!!

Calleb & John co-preach together in a Kenyan home.

Everyone sits down to a delicious meal of beans and corn.

Just a few of the 25 kids that showed up!
