Cleaning & Playing at Jomo Kenyatta Sports Ground

During the school break, we've been working to teach the Agape boys about Christian service.  To help with the illustration, we went to Jomo Kenyatta Sports Ground to pick-up rubbish (don't say "garbage", Kenyans think you mean "cabbage").  After cleaning up the park, we let the boys play football (soccer) on the full-sized field.  We ran into a bunch of street boys while in the park, and our Agape Boys (former street boys themselves) did really well!   Here's a few photos!

Connor and Mama Benta hang out on the sidelines with a few street boys.

Sut tries to get open while playing with the Agape boys.

Watch out for the street boy with the glue bottle in his mouth!

Chris tries his best to block a shot at the goal.

Snack time with Scholar, Lyla, and Mama Benta.
