Kenyan Easter Egg Hunt

Happy Easter everyone!!!  He is risen!!!

We had an awesome Easter yesterday, starting the day with worship with the Agape Boys.  Later in the day, Tammy and the kids took cake up to Agape as a surprise for the Agape boys (sorry we forgot the camera).  Then, what Easter would be complete without an Easter Egg hunt!!!

Sorry, no plastic eggs here! Tammy and the kids hard boiled and died these eggs.  We were a little concerned that the dye wouldn't work, because all of our eggs are brown, but they turned out great!

The fearsome egg hunters belt out their battle cry!

Lyla had her own special hunting ground (to prevent poaching from her older siblings).

She found a red one!

Connor enjoys finding a blue egg!

Egg hunting . . . and hopefully not mamba hunting.

Seth searches . . .

 . . . and scores!!!

Counting the spoils from the hunt!  We had a great time, but we realized that our guard, Charles, was staring at us like we were crazy.  I guess hiding perfectly good food around your yard could be perceived by a Kenyan to be a little abnormal.   We still have a lot to learn!
